NOTICE OF INTEREST TO OPERATORS

The Urbana & Champaign Sanitary District is hosting a Class 4 WW Operations class on March 6 & 7. Cost is $290.

Contact Rick Lallish at ERTC if you are interested in sending someone to this class.

We need a few more attendees to make this happen!

Class 4 Wastewater Operations (15 hours)

Sources and characteristics of wastewater are taught. Topics include biological treatment priciples, process control, normal operation and preventative maintenance for collection systems, preliminary treatment devices , primary treatment devices, stabilization ponds and disinfection systems. Federal and state laws, rules, and regulations are also discussed.

I wanted to let you all know that ERTC will be holding a three-day Class C and D Drinking Water Supply Operator Workshop at Lincoln Trail College in Robinson, IL on June 26 - 28. We are offering this workshop in Robinson to help bring training to the eastern side of the state. For some of you Robinson is closer than traveling to ERTC in Edwardsville. The flyer is HERE.
